65 Mph Through Burnt Land // Raw Run

Mike Mayhew, and Kieran Connolly skate at speeds up to 65 mph down this insanely beautiful, burnt, and eerie mountain road. Somewhere in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. We filmed this in the summer of 2018, a few months after an aggressive fire torched most of the area. While some green returned, you can still see the burnt trees, and destroyed land all around it. Now, the area is in a lot better condition. But, sadly for us skaters, the entire road has been repaved, leaving us unable to “comfortably“ skate it.
