The Royalettes were the classiest of all the girl groups of the 60’s. They recorded this with Teddy Randazzo in 1965, but released it as a single in 1966. It appeared on the ’I Want To Meet Him’ album, but followed the version by Holly Maxwell as a 45. The Royalettes, though perhaps more Pop-Soul, recorded songs that were amazingly as elegant as they were as a group. And Sheila Ross rocks in my book. Hope you enjoy one of my favorite Royalettes tracks.
