Russenpolka - Dance with Keine Kunst

Russenpolka is a dance this group is very fond of, being the favorite dance of many of our members. Not much is known about the history of this dance apart from the fact that it originated from Lower Saxony, Germany and that we believe it is inspired by Russian folk dance. This dance contains many different kinds of steps, such as a polka step, a hopping step, and a walking step. This dance also features complex figures with many moving parts, so everyone must know exactly where they should be for it to work. The leading couples are in the middle of the screen to start, while the following couples are on the left and right.
