Angelina Spreeride was nothing less than a rad day of playing skateboards in the mountains of Cartago, Costa Rica. It was carried out in a gnarly hill apt for both speedboarding and freeriding. Both were done simultaneously and resulted in tricky and sketchy maneuvers from the speedboarders in order to avoid the riders sliding around at lower speeds. The amount of people that showed up was huge. Most events usually have over a hundred people hitting “Attending“ on Facebook, but only a small fraction of those end up going. This event was the exception. There was a mass of skaters on the hill, around 70. The spot is no easy treat for beginners. It is steep with perfect pavement, making it one of the fastest freeride roads in the country. The amount of new faces was unbelievable, and there were a few revelations with crews that no one had seen before but shredded harder than most and definitely came to leave their mark on the scene.
