Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino Atlantic City Opens | NBC10 Philadelphia

Out of the Vault: Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey, opened to the public on May 15, 1984. Over the years, it hosted several high-profile boxing matches. As traffic to the casino declined in the new millennium, the casino eventually was closed in 2014 and fell into disrepair. The main hotel tower was imploded on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021.
