Clementi - Prelude in D Minor

Muzio Clementi (Jan. 23, 1752 - Mar. 10, 1832) was an Italian composer, pianist, conductor, and music publisher among many other things. He was based out of London, from which he’d tour Europe to perform piano. In the modern day, he’s largely known for his studies and sonatas. They’ve had so much influence that Clementi has been dubbed “the father of the piano.“ This Prelude showcases just that. It’s from his Op. 42 work Introduction to the Art of Playing the Pianoforte.
