Montenegro: Thousands rally against plans for NATO integration

Around 5,000 protesters, members and supporters of the peace movement “No to NATO, no to War“, rallied in Podgorica on Saturday against Montenegro’s possible accession to North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg officially invited Montenegro to join the US-led military alliance during the meeting in Brussels on December 2.
