Teddie Palmer. Endless

Since Teddie (Teddy) Palmer’s Rumble Band had spoofed up as ’Tremblin’ Ted and the Rockers’ to fill in for a non-appearance of the Wild Angels, they had done four or five ’college only’ gigs each year, as this alter ego. John D’Ardis owner of Trend Studios, and Peter Bardon, the band’s manager decided to do an LP of modernised rock’n’roll , using this image for the cover. Session players were Bill Whelan’s house band, John Drummond, Bass; Desi Reynolds and Mog Ahearn, Drums; Benny Chievers, Des Moore and Teddie’s old soul mate Tiger Taylor, Guitars; Ann-Marie Mooney, Bill Whelan & John Drummond Backing Vocals; Bill Whelan (later to become world famous by writing Riverdance) played Piano & Fender Rhodes, and also did the final mix. Recorded at Trend Studios Dublin in a two day session. , Released on ID catalogue number IDLP 2014, in 1978. The LP became RTE’s LP of the month, numbers from it being played once an hour every day.
