Milkha Singh, the Indian Olympic runner looks like throwing out a strong challenge at this Summer’s Commonwealth games at Cardiff. He has already broken the Asian 400 metres record with a time of 46.7 seconds and has followed it with a 200 metres in 21.4 seconds. A quiet fellow with a pleasant personality, Singh is from the Sikh community and a member of the Indian army. He puts in regular exercise and training under Kuldip Singh, an Indian Coach. Here we see him in actual competition at the Indian Armed Services Versus Indian Railways meeting at New Delhi.
