After Winston Churchill, Christopher Columbus’ Statues Vandalised In Black Lives Matter Protests

Statues of Italian explorer Christopher Columbus were damaged in Boston, Virginia and Minnesota in the U.S. The protests were triggered by George Floyd’s death in the U.S. Angry protesters are now targeting statues of historical figures who were racists. The protesters believe that iconic historical figures’ racist history has been ignored too long to glorify them.
