May 23, 2019 // SUMMIT. DAY TWO On May 23, in Arkhangelsk the participants of the Arctic Science Summit Week held meetings of several working groups; there was also held a meeting of the Council of the International Arctic Science Committee (IASC), which includes 28 countries. The days preceding the opening ceremony of the summit (May 24) are traditionally devoted to discussing current and future projects of the committee and addressing organizational matters.
