The Sisters of the Valley reap these benefits amid this turbulent transition, running their illegal farm in one of the most dangerous towns in America. The Sisters fight against the goliaths of law enforcement and religion who are determined to stop them at all costs. We find them harassed by the Trump-lovin’ Sheriff, a Christian Bishop, County and State investigatory teams, the City Council and Post Office, all the while dodging bullets from local drug kingpins. And yet, advised by the local Native Elder and protected by armed Mexican cartels, Sister Kate’s business has grown into a multi-million-dollar empire.
