Birchblossom Castle - A Minecraft Timelapse

This one took a little longer than usual. Partially because I built it so I can use the footage for the timelapse and for a future tutorial series. I wanted to build a Japanese inspired castle that felt closer to a real castle, but with some of my own designs added in. Matsumoto Castle was one of the inspirations. My earlier Japanese and Chinese inspired castles were more fantastical and had a lot more inspiration from wooden temple designs with more elaborate roof contructions. I also mixed a lot of nordic medieval fantasy aspects into The Autumn Castle. This one is much more traditional Japanese. Oh, and I learned the piston trick for the katana-stand from Cortezerino. ;-) Hope you like it!
