The song “Everybody Wants to Rule the World“ and the video for it was requested and inspired by my patron Tiger Lapis. I have a confession to make. I have never heard “Everybody Wants to Rule the World“ until Tiger asked me to make a cover of this song (fun fact: Sergey instantly recognized it because the Tears for Fears original was used in an anime series that he watched as a child ?). It was love at first sight and I was absolutely excited to start working on it. I used a lot of arranging and sound design techniques that I’ve never tried before.
