Mesenchymal movement during cancer cell invasion

Fibrosarcoma cancer cell (HT1080) migrating on cell-derived matrices. Membrane protrusion at the front of the cell observed in this movie are typical of Mesenchymal migration. This cell was transfected with life-act GFP to visualise the actin cytoskeleton and imaged using a spinning disk confocal microscope.
