Montreal Mayor Collapses at Podium During News Conference

Montreal’s mayor collapsed during a news conference at City Hall Tuesday morning. Valerie Plante was standing at a podium answering a journalist’s question, when she suddenly went silent and sat down on the platform. Plante’s aides gathered around her before walking her out of the room. CTV said an ambulance was called to City Hall, but Plante was not transported to hospital.
