6 ноября 2017 года после репетиции с Костромским губернским симфоническим оркестром п/у Павла Герштейна к концерту, посвящённому дню рождения маэстро (), Матвей сел за рояль и начал что-то наигрывать. Я тут же подключился и начал импровизировать! Получилась симпатичная пьеса, которую мы с Мотей решили посвятить Павлу! К счастью, сохранилось видео! :) Наверное, это единственная запись, где Матвей играет на рояле, а не на саксофоне свою собственную композицию!.. Его внезапный уход из жизни меня потряс и оглушил! :( Я никогда не встречал в своей жизни более талантливого и лучезарного молодого человека! Ему было всего 18 лет!.. :( Светлая память! On November 6, 2017, after a rehearsal with the Kostroma Symphony Orchestra conducted by Pavel Gershtein for a concert dedicated to the birthday of the maestro (November 7), Matvey sat at the piano and began to play something. I spontaneously connected to him and began to improvise! The result was a nice piece, which we dedicated to Pavel! Fortunately, the video has been preserved! :) Probably, this is the only record where Matvey plays the piano, not the saxophone! His sudden departure from life shocked and stunned me! :( I have never met a more talented and radiant young man in my life! He was only 18 years old! .. :( A bright memory!
