Improving, understanding the biomechanics in Jumps and strengthening muscles is important for a dancer in order to be injury free and achieve high elevation. Plyometric exercises combined with ballet steps will help you increase power, speed and performance. Plyometrics are primarily used by athletes, especially martial artists, sprinters and high jumpers, they activate the quick response and elastic properties of the major muscles in the body.
