H.W. Magoun, PhD introduced by James A. Campbell, MD

Dr. Magoun describes his research in stereotactic surgery which included design/production of stereotactic devices and the development of an atlas of the cat brain. He describes the creation of the Brain Research Institute at UCLA and his appointment as chairman of an IBRO section on the history of the brain. He recounts work done with Bailey, John French, McCulloch and von Bonin.
