Massive explosion rocks Iraqi military base, US blamed The Kalsu military base, close to Baghdad and home to the reportedly Iran-backed Harakat al Nujaba militia, fell victim to an explosion on Friday, Reuters reports, with local media claiming it was a US airstrike. According to Al Arabiya, one person was killed and several others were injured. US CENTCOM has denied its involvement, saying it did not conduct airstrikes in Iraq on Friday. Source: RT News
