Godrumadvip Darshan (3): Prasadam at Hari-Hara Kshetra

24 Feb. 2010. After darshan of Swananda Sukhada Kunja, our parikrama party proceeded to Hari-Hara Kshetra where one can have darshan of the Deity of Hari (Vishnu) and Hara (Lord Shiva) in one body. This place is also known as Mahavaranasi where Shambu (Shivaji) and his shakti Gauri eternally reside and chant Gauranga’s names therefore residence in this place is superior to residence in Kasi or Kailash. When one dies in this place, Shambu himself chants Gaura’s names to his ear and therefore delivers him from this material world. Here our parikrama party stopped for sometime for harikatha and prasadam distribution.
