Derek’s Goodbye

Derek Scott reflects on the world he is leaving with a request to focus on the pervasive legacy of Scarcity. It can impede our Self-led response to those in need. He talks about the hope of IFS for the emerging times. He describes his final book wherein he talks about IFS, medicine work and the process of journeying with cancer and approaching one’s own transition. He celebrates the magic and the mystery of the Self-field whereby, when we embrace it, we are able to send perhaps the most important message a client, a human being will ever receive: “I fully trust you.“ He reflects on legacy, purpose and meaning at the end of his life here.
