Moria Chappell & Victoria Teel: "Dewi Sri’s Midsummer Night" (A Midsummer Night)

“Dewi Sri’s Midsummer Night“ is an ensemble piece from the theatrical show “A Midsummer Night“ directed by Moria Chappell. This signature piece was choreographed by both Moria Chappell and Victoria Teel. Victoria incorporated her Victoria Teel Fanveil Method while Moria choreographed her Javanese Fusion Belly Dance style which combines Javanese and Tribal Fusion Belly Dance. “The theatrical show ’A Midsummer Night’ was a collaborative production based on themes of fantasy and dreamscape. Four days prior to its performance, three primary choreographers (Moria Chappell, Victoria Teel, and Petite Jamilla) taught the entire show to a mixed-level group of performers at Hard Raq Bellydance Festival. The dancers who auditioned were from various backgrounds: professional, semi-professional, and student dancers; yet all were united in devoting their shared passion for belly dance, world dance, and fusion dance. My deepest gratitude to all involved.“ ~ Moria
