This second output marks a significant evolution from their debut, shedding their previous post-black metal influences and embracing the raw, untamed spirit of second-wave black metal. While the album removes the presence of synths, which were a prominent element of their debut, this absence has not diminished the album’s harmonious and melodic qualities. Instead, the band has masterfully woven intricate guitar lines and a prominent bass presence, creating a soundscape that is both dark and captivating. Regardless of such great songwriting traits and undeniable musical growth that add a great flavour to this album, this act is also able to convey with greater success the abyssal might the genre represents.
