Absolver 2 Concept Narrative

Author - Dylan Malave Lore Specialist/Advisor - ToverN Absolver 2 takes place during the downfall, making it a prequel to the Original. The general plot, is that you are a regular martial artists who wakes up to the Calamity that is the downfall, and after escaping the disastrous event you are recruited by a cultist order by the name of the “Guides“ believers in the law of Anlek. The player is told that there is a forever expanding dimension “The Fold,“ and if the portal not closed in time all of Illentia will be engulfed & Consumed by The Fold. You are sent on various missions to increase the guides’ influence over the many lands, like Freeing the enslaved “New Forest“ tribes, Defeating Tearan Warlords to restore peace to “The Tear,“ Reducing the Authoritarian grasp of the Karshi Royals over the peasants by slaying their Elite Generals, Fighting through the Heavily guarded Uring nation and its two Tyrants Councilors to discover Towerpoint, Defending the Ripan Guide outpost from a Ripan Raiding Syndicate. And retrieving lost undiscovered artifacts from the fabled Motherland & Green Haven. Once you acquire new skills and defeat all the bosses, when finally return to Towerpoint for the final time, you are tested then decided by the guides that you are now proficient enough to do the Ultimate Duty of Closing the portal to the Fold. The player meets a friendly Etheran on the way to the Raslan tower, he entrusts you with the power of the Mask to Defeat the tyrannical Etheran who has kept the portal open to let the fold spread as revenge for corrupting the fold by mixing it with objects from the physical realm. Once you defeat the evil etheran, the friendly one thanks you for your service then unfolds you back at towerpoint. The Guides hear of your victory, and commemorates the player by giving him the first one to bear the title of “Absolver,“ making a special cloak who will be given to future absolvers as a remembrance of the once great first absolver. You are told to teach future prospects following in your footsteps and that they will call on you whenever the time is right. Bosses: New Forest - Tearan Satellite Subordinate, A slave state supervisor put in charge by A Prominent Tearan Warlord in the Region. The Tear - Greatest Tearan Warlord, Leading son of the strongest Tearan Tribe, Conqueror of lands. Karshi - Elite Karshi General, Supreme commander & highest ranking Officer of the Royal Guards. Uring - Two Councilor Tyrants, Radical Militarist Extremist of Uring. Ripa - Ripan Syndicate Leader, The Head of the Raiders of Ripa. TowerPoint - Gatekeeper Guide Adversary, Captain of the Knights of Anlek. Adal - Essence Etheran Monster, the downfall caused this Etheran to be infused with folded items from the physical world like blocks of stone, weapons and essence energy that caused the downfall which got teleported into the fold and the Etheran absorbed most of it.
