Edison Lighthouse - Home Lovin’ Man [Stereo]

Track A4 from the rare Japan only LP compilation of Edison Lighthouse’s “Greatest Hits Featuring: Tony Burrows,“ featuring a rare stereo mix of what was actually a Tony Burrows b-side. The fabulously tender ballad “Home Lovin’ Man“ by Tony Macaulay co-written with producers Roger Cook & Roger Greenaway and arranged by Lew Warburton, this was the b-side of Tony Burrows’ final single for Bell Records (a cover of “Rhythm Of The Rain“). Although the single was released on May 12, 1972, this LP appears to have been released in 1971, suggesting it was culled from an earlier batch of sessions recorded with Cook-Greenaway.
