Vladimir Selivokhin playing Rachmaninoff’s Piano Sonata no. 1, op. 28, recorded in 1979. LP rip. Selivokhin (1946-2015) studied with Vsevolod Topilin in Kiev and with Lev Oborin in Moscow. He won first prize at the 1968 Ferruccio Busoni Competition. It’s worth reading about Topilin, who unwittingly had a big impact on Richter.
