Rishi Sunak “Is Just Cruising To A Crushing Electoral Defeat“ Says Kevin O’Sullivan

In the week that Rishi Sunak made a speech in Italy saying illegal migration is threatening to “overwhelm“ Europe, TalkTV’s Kevin O’Sullivan has predicted a “crushing“ loss at next year’s election. Speaking to Italian conservatives at an event in Rome, the Prime Minister said “enemies“ could use immigration as a “weapon“ by “deliberately driving people to our shores to try to destabilise our society“. Sunak joined far-right Italian leader Giorgia Meloni and also met with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, agreeing to jointly fund a plan to return migrants in Tunisia, just across the sea from Italy, to their home countries. Political correspondent for the Spectator James Heale joins Kevin and TalkTV’s Alex Phillips to discuss the Conservative’s migration stance. Kevin says: “The Prime Minister’s really ratcheting up the rhetoric, don’t they understand we are sick to death of rhetoric.
