Pigeon Guillemot / Тихоокеанский чистик / Cepphus columba

Pigeon Guillemot next to the Tahlequah Ferry Dock, Vashon Island, WA on 20 June 2012. They nest under the dock. The head dipping behavior is normal, although I always though they were looking under before diving. The bird here didn’t dive.
