Brian Crain - God Rest You Merry, Gentlemen (Piano Cover)

It does not happen very often that I enjoy piano renditions of Christmas carols, especially when every pianist with three or more albums seems to have at least one Christmas album with the very same songs. I do like Brian Crain’s simplistic, yet spirited, style though. In fact this became one of my favorite pieces by Brian Crain. Anyway, I think it might come in handy to have one Christmas carol in your repertoir when you’re a pianist. :) I made the video overnight so as to publish it in time before Christmas, so I hope it doesn’t look rushed and I wish it will contribute to your pleasant mood before or during the holidays. Also, notice that the video was done in collaboration with my good old friend and, after more than two years of relying on tripods, tables and cupboards, I have some proper camera work in my video at last! Finally, I would like to thank Veronika for lending us her wooden Nativity scene, which gave the video a definite boost in Christmassy mood! Enjoy the music and live with passion!
