Rescuing a flying-fox stuck on a balcony: this is Mr Darcy

Mr Darcy is an adult male Grey-Headed Flying-Fox who was found on an enclosed balcony. This wasn’t the kind of balcony a bat could have escaped from - there’s not enough space to gain height to fly out. The members of public weren’t all that excited about our batty - they cared that he was rescued, but they weren’t at ease having him there. I love it when people who are (probably) scared of the bats still call for rescue. So Mr Darcy has come into care. He really does look quite spaced out and is very passive, but he seems to be hanging in there. Let’s see how he is in the morning...
