Camellia WATERCOLOR Painting | BOTANICAL ART | Painting a Realistic Flower Using Primary Colors

H E L L O E V E R Y O N E ! ! ! Last week I painted a flower (camellia) using Quinacridone Coral and a warm yellow (Azo Yellow) trying to get bright shadows, but this time I painted the same type of flower under a cooler light, using a cooler red in comparison. Can you see the differences? I think it is a good exercise to see subtle variations and mixes to get various results. Kingyo M A T E R I A L S: I used Daniel Smith watercolors, and these are the colors: -Azo Yellow (PY151) -Quinacridone Rose (PV19) -Phthalo Blue (PB15:3) I also used a Canson Montval 300gr. cold pressed paper sketchbook, and round brushes of different sizes.
