To watch this ordinary boy become so deeply disturbed by his existence and the circumstances that surround it that he eventually becomes omnicidal was such an intense ride. In this video, I was prompted to portray the journey of him growing into himself, into the stranger and then Adam, something he deliberately fights. I really like the whole ’by trying to avoid your destiny you ensure that it becomes fate’ narrative the show has going on, and I tried to show how much of a big deal that is to Jonas. He tries and tries to change things yet he always ends up just ensuring it all happens same as always. That’s both frustrating and fascinating to watch, and saddening, when you think that for very long he held on to hope for normalcy then change until the loop made him a full cynic. There’s a lot of talk about roles and fate
