Roland JD-XA Celestial Spheres

Follow Imaginary Audience on Instagram Tinkering with the Roland JD-XA and its newest Axial sound set Celestial Spheres. The programmer of these patches included a ‘notes’ file containing tips and recommendations. Certain patches included in this video have been adjusted according to the developer’s notes. For example: ‘Emo Piano’ has been tweaked with a 70 cutoff and 40 resonance on all digital parts, although digital part 4 has not been muted. With these adjustments it shifted from a Roland XP-80 or JD piano type sound to a soft ambient sound.
