M/S of a group of Italians in brightly coloured traditional 13th Century costumes walking down the steps outside what looks to me like the town hall in Liverpool, Merseyside; some men at the rear are waving large flags about. There are a few locals wearing, in contrast, drab, grey, English winter clothes! C/U of some of the men waving the flags; commentator tells us “these men are flag jugglers of the famous ’Giostra del Saracimo’ still held every year at Arezzo in Italy“. C/U of the head of the group - who is not flag-waving - tilt down to show his costume of red and gold with a black horse emblazoned on his cream tunic. The costumes are amazing, in reds, golds, greens and blues with embroidery; some have long droopy hoods. M/S of this man and another who is holding a baton; his costume of black and cream also has a black horse on the tunic; lots of spectators can be seen in the background. C/U of his face; he is wearing a helmet with a model of a black horse’s head on top of it and chain mail ove
