Eduard Miansarov plays Beethoven, Shostakovich, Prokofiev, Rachmaninoff - 1958

Eduard Miansarov studied with Lev Oborin and placed fourth at the 1958 Tchaikovsky competition, behind Van Cliburn, Lev Vlassenko and Liu Shikun (they shared second), and Naum Shtarkman. This recording was made at that time--he was 25--and ripped from an LP. The photo shows Liu Shikun, Van Cliburn and Eduard Miansarov.
