Leopold Kozeluch: Pastorale in g minor

So, I played a couple of other pieces that were much more complex and difficult than this, but it always felt a bit like the “wrong“ upload; after some searching I decided to upload this really pretty simple piece, but it is a charming listen and useful for music teachers. One can train basic principles like melody line phrasing and accentuations here. Also, this is a classical era piece; the composer was already 9 years old when Mozart was born. Kozeluch (1747-1818) was a Czech composer and music. He moved to Prague to further his musical education, before moving in Vienna in 1778, where he was based for the remainder of his career. In Vienna he achieved renown as a composer, pianist and teacher, and from 1792 until his death in 1818 he held royal appointments as Kammer Kapellmeister (music director) and Hofmusik Compositor (composer), as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s successor.
