Orangelime - Electric Jungle Critters - [FULL ALBUM]

Orangelime - Electric Jungle Critters (1988) Produced/Composed by David Wojciech and 13Js. Orangelime was a duo comprised of producers David Wojciechowski and 13Js that combined ethnic sounds, R&B and jazz with cutting-edge digital and analog synths with the aim to create the soundscape of a “digital jungle“. The duo was formed in the spring of 1987 after the release of the single “Electric Jungle Critters“ by David that year, released under the name “Ha! Dingo!“. It inspired 13Js to release “Gay People!“, a song that drew influence from Electric Jungle Critters. The two then agreed to collaborate on a full-lenght album. The duo would release it’s first album “Electric Jungle Critters“ in April of the following year after being hold for several months under production. The album features a synth-pop heavy re-imagining of Victor Fritzsche’s “Gato“ from 1978, one of the very first songs David has worked on.
