123: PNSO Helicoprion 2021 (Haylee) Review

It’s almost a given that any dinosaur PNSO produces will be a winner, and PNSO has given us some beautiful ones. But PNSO has also given us some non-dinosaurs prehistoric creatures, and I’ve been wanting more. Today I have it. This is the PNSO Helicoprion, that most famous of the Eugeneodontid ‘sharks’. A true puzzle, the true appearance of this animal and the positioning of those famous tooth whorls eluded all solution until the solution came from the use of advanced technology. PNSO has captured this bizarre creature wonderfully, not just in sculpt, but with a paint application that presents you a very living breathing marine animal. With a subtle texture that completes the illusion, this is one of my favourites from PNSO this year.
