Eomac presents Bedouin Trax | Artaphine Series 025

Bedouin Records challenged Eomac to produce an album using only samples given by the record label. Receiving recordings of Moroccan street sounds, Sufi ritual music and Baghdadi dabke, the album that emerged in 2017 showed his true artistry: even though limited by the samples provided, he perfectly finds the balance between acoustic and electronic, east and west sensibilities that’s respectful to the material yet faithful to his electro-techno roots. After the album he toured under the Bedouin Trax project with a DJ set, capturing the same vibe he set with the album.
