SHOEI VFX-W’s Emergency Quick Release System (EQRS)

Shared with the X-Twelve road-racing helmet, the VFX-W features SHOEI’s exclusive EQRS that allows emergency medical personnel to easily and safely remove the cheek pads from an injured rider’s helmet. With the cheek pads absent, the helmet can be gently removed from an injured rider’s head with minimal load being placed on his or her neck.
