Broken Dental Implant Abutment Screw Retrieval - 2/2

This case was referred to me by a local periodontist for broken implant screw evaluation and retrieval. The patient was already informed by her previous dentist to have a new dental implant placed surgically in the same area. She wanted a second opinion and to know if the implant fixture could be saved. Microscopic examination revealed a classification “type 3“ level screw fracture.
