Russia’s Uranium One signs deal with Bolivia to build lithium plant - reports The mining company Uranium One Group, part of Russia’s Rosatom, has signed a contract with Bolivia to build a lithium carbonate production plant. The launch of the facility is scheduled for the second half of 2025 with a planned capacity of 14,000 tons per year, Russian media reported. At the event the President of the South American country Luis Arce highlighted the importance of the agreement, stating that Bolivia has decided to move to the stage of industrial lithium extraction.
