Zepp Arrives (1929)

Titles read: ’Cardington, Beds. “Zepp“ arrives! Giant airship joins R100 at air base.’ Bedfordshire. This item is mute. M/S of R100 airship attached to a high tower on an airfield. Another airship or zeppelin is seen in the background - must be the Graf Zeppelin. Closer shot shows the bottom of the R100 and the Graf Zeppelin behind it. M/S of a group of men outside a Nissen hut. One seems to be making a speech and shakes hands with one of the others. M/S of underneath section of airship. General view of crowds of people running across the airfield to landing airship. Good M/S of the airship landing with ’Graf Zeppelin’ clearly visible on the side. People are crowded round the gondola. M/S of the gondola where we can see the pilot at the controls.
