Canine Massage Techniques: Kneading

Pat Whalen-Shaw demonstrates canine massage therapy on Edge. Edge was recently injured after having slipped on the ice. Edge is a highly athletic hunting dog--a Weimaraner. Here we see kneading techniques to help him overcome some muscle spasms he had at the back of his leg. The goal is to softly work the tissues--in this case the hamstring group. At the end, the dog decides he is done with the session. :^)
