The Rwandan genocide that saw 800,000 people slaughtered marks its 25-year anniversary. April 7 was the start of Rwanda’s most violent 100 days - Hutu extremists massacred the Tutsi minority with machetes in hand. The 1994 Rwandan genocide is considered the hallmark example of violence that was ignored by the international community. But how far how we come since then?
