kagoshima Tall Ships Festival(Tall Ships Race“SAIL OSAKA 97“)

The first TALL SHIPS race “SAIL OSAKA 97“ in Japan was held in April, 1997. Familiar TALL SHIPS concentrated on one and Kagoshima in the venue in the Atlantic Ocean, and the appearance was announced to the Japanese. The parade was done in the Kagoshima City offing on the departure day. After the parade had ended, each ship had it to next day’s race start.
