It Guys - Double Trouble [Nila’s Quest]

Exclusive: IT Guys - Double Trouble Argentinian label collective Nila’s Quest readies its third outing, which is as varied and fresh as the predecessors, namely the debut EP by TOBI and the VA follow up Argentinian Breakfast Vol. 1. The newest contribution to the label comes from the IT Guys, who deliver a four tracker, whose sound aesthetic can be classified as a conglomerate of different influences from House music’s golden era in the 90s, namely Italo and Progressive. The EP starts with the title track Double Trouble, which seemingly combines the before-mentioned House music with an Italo note. Still the implementation of a rather proggy sub-frequencies turn Double Trouble to a smooth merger of various genres without sounding too intentionally or forced. In fact Double Trouble is an uplifting dance floor take, which overcomes the boundaries of genres as easily as it bogarts the crowd in the club. It Guys’ Double Trouble EP is out on Nila’s Quest.
