Hello! Here’s a short clip about my fun visit to Kibune, Kyoto! Hope you guys enjoy it! :)
Here’s the route I took (while using JR Pass):
- Take the Osaka Loop Line for Osaka Station
- Take the JR Nara Line for Demachiyanagi Station
- Take the Eizan Electric Railway Kurama Line for Kibuneguchi Station
Here’s how it works:
- Take a number after making payment.
- Each customer (group of family / individual) will be called to sit near the waterfall (that’s where they place the bamboo lanes). I’m so glad that I managed to catch the first batch of noodles (fresh!).
- Each customer (group of family / individual) will be assigned to one bamboo lane and you can only catch (pick) your noodles from that one lane only.
- Start catching noodles!
- Last batch of noodles is in pink color to indicate that the fun is over. :(
- Green tea mochi desserts are also served after the meal.
Price: 1300 yen
Address: 180 Kuramakibunechō, Sakyō-ku, Kyōto-shi, Kyōto-fu 601-1112, Japan
