Anfernee Simons drops 34 with career-high 14 assists vs. Wolves

Go to Ball Hog Gloves Anfernee Simons recorded a double-double on Monday with 34 points (13-of-26 FGs), five rebounds, 14 assists and five 3-pointers in a 119-114 loss to the Timberwolves. Simons scored 30 points in their last game on Saturday, but he stepped his game up another level in this one. He had one of his best scoring games of the season, and he was still able to set a new career-high in assists, shattering his previous mark of 11. Portland has dealt with plenty of injuries lately, but Simons has only missed two games since January 1st. As long as he is on the floor, the production should remain elite, especially with Jerami Grant, Deandre Ayton, Scoot Henderson and Malcolm Brogdon all dealing with various injuries.
